see clear glasses

Problem:

When cooking in a kitchen speed is key. But glasses always seem to get in the way. Having to take them off when they steam up or clean them from the grease and other various things that make their way to your lenses but finding the time and a cloth or something clean and safe to clear the lenses. And of course on you’re off days where they fall off your face and break. Inconveniences like glasses are unnecessary time suckers during the rush. So I have come up with indestructible frames that comfortably stay on your face and have scratch proof lenses and these ideal glasses wouldn’t be complete without little windshield wiper like cleaners that you would have to clean out once a week that automatically react to anything that impairs your vision.

Idea generation:

While working in a kitchen every day I have had endless encounters with glasses issues’ and have become a familiar face at Lens Crafters.

Idea screening:

But if you wear glasses how often have you thought I wish there were windshield wipers? But is it possible to create ones that aren’t bulky? With the technologies that are out today I think that there could be away. The price might be an issue also. Studies of how much they would cost in comparison to how much people would be willing to pay would be a necessity before production can start.

Business analysis:

Finding innovative ways to create more time and reduce the hassle of cooking is always on the top of a chefs list. This would reduce the annoyance that traditional glasses provide and may help improve efficiency.

Development:

Testing out different features and lens coatings for different circumstances to complete the product then designing a unisex frame so everyone will feel comfortable in. once the product is complete field test in different industries would be done to see if different features could be added.

Test marketing:

Test the efficiency of the glasses in kitchen settings with people of different ages and different kitchen settings. Also test other industries to see if they would provide the same efficiency. Such as a carpenter.

Commercialization:

Once a completed product is created a glasses company would be approached to sell this brand so that the prescription will be 100% accurate.
